I am passionate about providing quality care and providing your family with an environment where you feel safe, secure and support. We adopt an open door policy and you are welcome to come in anytime, we are here to listen and support you in any way we can.
Our environments are inclusive and adaptable to meet the individual needs of your family.
I believe in using a holistic approach to educating children and supporting their well being. We are all unique individuals and through providing mentoring and support to our Educators we are able to deliver an emergent curriculum that helps your children to become successful leaners, through recognition of their individual strengths, interests and future goals.
“It takes a village to raise children”, this quote has always resonated with me and I believe our role doesn’t stop with building relationships within our service, establishing and maintain community connections are essential. Through community connections we are able to broaden not only our children’s but also our own understanding as Educators of the world in which we live and the community in which we work, play and live.
Our philosophy here at Sparrow is influenced by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we regard children as highly capable, curious and confident beings with the capacity to lead their own learning.
Our service and educators role is to support and guide this learning using our environments as the third teacher and being responsive to our children’s interests, needs and developmental goals.
The Sparrow Way.
The Sparrow Way combines proven international early learning methods to create a unique practice designed for today’s society. Guided by the principles of Reggio Emilia and underpinned by The Early Years Framework for Australia, we embrace children’s inherent abilities to learn and develop, creating an environment for them to find solutions through exploration, discovery and invention.
