Sparrow Early Learning Centre Sandstone Point is a modern and open layout Service in a luscious and tranquil location.

Our caring and qualified Educators love to play, read, rhyme, sing, clap and dance with the babies to enhance their development.

Toddlers are given ample opportunity to develop their social skills and self-confidence in their interactions with others, and to learn literacy and numeracy skills through real-life experiences.

Our kindergarten program is based on the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and taught by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. With a focus on language, literacy, numeracy and social skills, it will ensure your child is ready for school and life beyond.

We have beautiful, safe outdoor play areas which have wonderful features including sandpits, natural play scapes and lots of opportunities for investigation and fun. Shade sails strategically placed throughout the play areas offer shade for the warmer weather along with some lovely trees.

We also offer a fantastic Beach Kindy program where children are given the opportunity to explore and investigate the local coastal environments.

Service Manager at our Childcare Centre, Sandstone Point

My name is Laura, I have been with the Sandstone Team for a year, and I am your Service Manager.

I started in Early Childhood in 2002 and have worked across all age groups and in a variety of position from Educator up to Service Manager.

I hold a Diploma in Children’s Services and a Diploma of Leadership and Management and am passionate about providing high quality Education and Care for all children. Read more.

I believe in building strong relationships with our families and establishing a partnership to achieve the best outcomes for our children.

I believe that all children have a right to feel a sense of belonging and be active participants in making decisions about matters that affect them. I believe in a play-based approach to learning

based on current research. Play based learning provides a strong foundation of skills and fosters our children’s love for learning. It is my passion to love, nurture, and educate all young children in a holistic way. I believe in providing children with opportunities to connect with their local community and become an active participant in the community in which they live.

Enrolment process

Our Early Education and Care Service in Sandstone Point promotes an open-door policy where families can visit and walk through the centre at any time during operational hours.

Once families have completed a tour, they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.

Once enrolled, the orientation process begins. The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs.
