About Sparrow Early Learning Centre Tewantin

Sparrow Early Learning Centre in Tewantin is situated close to the Tewantin town centre and is set in a picturesque environment overlooking Lake Doonella. Read more.

We have four rooms providing care for children aged 6 weeks to school-age. All rooms are air-conditioned and have reverse-cycle heating for the cooler months. Importantly for working families, we offer a Government Approved Kindergarten Program, where existing families have priority access.

You are invited to come for a tour of our Centre to meet our friendly, experienced educators and check out our fun learning environments. We want you to share in our belief of the importance of play and how it influences your child’s learning.

Our Service Manager and Educators are available to discuss the Centre’s Philosophy and operations, play & learning activities, your child’s progress or queries about your child’s care and education.

Your participation is encouraged as we believe it enhances the opportunities offered to your child.

I have worked in the sector for 14 years and have a Advanced diploma in community sector management.

I have truly loved expanding my knowledge and expertise over this time.

We strive to be a “home away from home” for all children here at Sparrow Tewantin and our mission is to provide a nurturing, safe and secure environment infused with fun, learning and based on children’s choices.”

Enrolment process

Our early learning centre in Tewantin promotes an open-door policy where families can visit and walk through the centre at any time during operational hours.

Once families have completed a tour, they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.

Once enrolled, the orientation process begins. The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs.
