Early Learning Centre
About Leaves Early Learning Centre Murrumbeena
Leaves Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a Long Childcare and Kindergarten service that provides education and care for children aged 3 months to 6 years.
Our qualified Kindergarten teacher has over 5 years’ experience teaching and all educators hold qualifications in the industry. Read more.
At Leaves ELC, we limit the number of children to 12 per room up to 3 years of age. Many studies have shown that younger children generally learn and develop better in smaller environments. By limiting the number of children in each room, we ensure that each child receives maximum care and is offered the best opportunities for their development. We are committed to providing a safe, happy and stimulating environment for every child that attends the service.
The service offers an educational program tailored to each developmental age group, from the nursery up to and including our 4-year-old preschool program. Our aim is to ensure that your child is best prepared to attend primary school in the following year. The preschool program is managed and delivered by a Masters Qualified Kindergarten teacher and our team of early childhood educators is carefully selected to ensure they have the appropriate qualifications and experience.
Leaves ELC offers four spacious, natural outdoor play areas with 4 large shade structures. We strongly believe in children learning through play in natural environments and having choices of kinesthetic, visual and verbal learning. Our service and educators are expected to follow the Cancer Council’s SunSmart policy.
As parents of young children, we understand that the decision to commit to childcare and early learning can be very emotional and challenging. We are committed to the care and education of every child and believe the early years are a unique and important stage of a child’s life. We promote a healthy lifestyle for all children by offering a balanced diet, a comprehensive menu and exceptional role-modelling by all educators.
