About Sparrow Early Learning Thornlie

At Sparrow Early Learning Thornlie we provide early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in a fun, happy, safe and stimulating environment. We are a warm and welcoming boutique Service offering only 44 places. Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, our educators provide a holistic, play-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on nature and outdoor learning experiences.

We celebrate each child as unique and our dedicated educators focus programming on meeting the individual needs and interests of each child. Family involvement and participation are highly encouraged and fostered at our Service. We value families as our co-educators and encourage them to participate in all aspects of our Service and their children’s learning. Read more.

Indoor learning spaces feel just like home and are filled with materials and resources that come straight from nature and everyday life. Activities are largely open-ended to allow children to follow their interests, use their imagination and stimulate social interactions with their peers and educators.

Engaging outdoor spaces provide further opportunities for imaginative and collaborative play with children enjoying the unstructured open spaces, quiet shady areas, sandpits and bike track, under the protection of shade sails.

We welcome families to arrange a tour to experience our warm and inviting service firsthand.
