Service Manager at Wanneroo
“Hi, my name is Charmaine. I am Wanneroo’s Service Manager. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education and I have worked in the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector for over 20 years. I adore my job, as it allows me the honour of seeing the joy on children’s faces as they learn and explore the wonders of our world sometimes for the very first time.” Read more.
My aim is to provide children with a high-quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. I strongly believe the first five years of a child’s life are a critical period and a window of endless opportunity for educators to help them grow into independent, capable, and competent human beings.
I feel privileged to join the sparrow team with passionate and qualified educators guiding and mentoring our team while continuing to foster a safe and secure environment where each child feels a strong sense of belonging while forming a trustful and collaborative relationship with all our sparrow families. I am looking forward to building these new partnerships with all our families, staff and having strong links with the local community.
I welcome your feedback, participation, and the sharing of ideas. This is an essential avenue for encouraging your parent involvement and evaluating the service’s performance to ensure best practice and continual development. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and any feedback you may have.
The Sparrow Way.
The Sparrow Way combines proven international early learning methods to create a unique practice designed for today’s society. Guided by the principles of Reggio Emilia and underpinned by The Early Years Framework for Australia, we embrace children’s inherent abilities to learn and develop, creating an environment for them to find solutions through exploration, discovery and invention.
Our childcare centre in Wanneroo promotes an open-door policy where families can visit and walk through the centre at any time during operational hours.
Once families have completed a tour, they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.

Happy families at Sparrow Early Learning Centre Wanneroo
I really love this centre!!! My son attended three different daycares and I can say this is the best by far! He is sooo happy every time he goes and never wants to come home. The girls are fabulous and caring. Such a warm and welcoming service.
The staff are warm, caring and genuine and my son didn’t take long to settle in, which was reassuring as a mother. The staff are always finding ways to keep him engaged in his learning and nurture his natural curiosity and interests. He loves coming to Sparrow and sharing his day with his peers and carers.
