About Sparrow Early Learning Warwick

Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Warwick! We provide early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in a nurturing, home-like environment. Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, our educators provide a holistic, play-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on nature and outdoor learning experiences. We celebrate each child as unique and our dedicated educators focus programming on meeting the individual needs and interests of each child. Family involvement and participation is highly encouraged and fostered at our service. We value families as our co-educators and encourage them to participate in all aspects of our service and their children’s learning.

Indoor learning spaces feel just like home and are filled with materials and resources that come straight from nature and everyday life. Activities are largely open-ended to allow children to follow their interests, use their imagination and stimulate social interactions with their peers and educators.

Engaging outdoor spaces provide further opportunities for imaginative and collaborative play with children enjoying the unstructured spaces, quiet shady areas, climbing structures and sandpits, under the protection of large shade sails.

Service Manager at our Childcare Centre, Warwick

My name is Allana and I am the service manager of Sparrow Early Learning Warwick. Working with children is a lifelong passion of mine and I believe that with nurture, care and passion children will have the opportunity to grow into the leaders of the future.

Having a Reggio inspire approaches allows us to see children as leaders, promoting resilience and cooperation through all our daily interactions. Children having autonomy in their day allows us to have a community of thinkers and develop program plans that reflect who our children are into the environment. Read more.

I have over 13 years’ experience working with children, families and communities and this passion for my sector is something I strive to inspire within my team every day, to build reciprocal and meaningful relationships with everyone within our Sparrow community brings joy and smiles to each of us every day.

I am thrilled to be on this journey with my Sparrow family and have the opportunity to mentor and lead my team into our future together.

Enrolment process

Our childcare centre in Warwick promotes an open-door policy where families can visit and walk through the centre at any time during operational hours.

Once families have completed a tour, they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.

Once enrolled, the orientation process begins. The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs.

My daughter went to Miss Jodie straight away and off outside to play on the very first tour we had of the centre.
