As a Studio Assistant Educator, there will never be a typical day… Through our play-based learning philosophy we are constantly reminded what a wonderous world we live in. You could go from singing Johnny works with One Hammer to a magician or gardener. Of course you will still be responsible for all if the compliance based things like safety checks, communicating with families, recording children’s progress, routines and interests – but all while creating a safe supportive space where children thrive.
Our centre is in the heart of Browns Plains. We are positioned in Village Square Town Centre which is close to all amenities, including bus and taxi access. We are within walking distance from the Grand Plaza Shopping Centre. We are a supportive Service where all children are individuals with their own needs, personalities and traits. We educate children through play, using each opportunity to extend on their skills and knowledge.
What you’ll need:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Experience in being a pirate finding lost treasure, make potions and sing loudly with little people.
- Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current & Valid Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
