About the Role:
As an Educational Leader you will work with the Leadership Team to mentor and support our team of passionate Educators. You will model creativity and innovation, motivate, and lead the team to create a positive and fun working space. In this role you will, in line with the National Quality Standard, be a pedagogy leader, developing, reviewing and implementing high-quality early learning programs. You will also providing reflection, confident support and motivation within our team of Educators, while maintaining excellent relationships with families, children and all team members.
We are a purpose-built facility in the heart of Drouin, Victoria centrally located next to Drouin Primary School. Our studios are spacious and are filled with natural light. Here, children have the opportunity to learn through play with stimulating resources and materials where they can explore, experiment, discover and solve problems in imaginative and playful ways. Our team at Grant Street are passionate advocates for children. They are dedicated to providing a safe, joyful environment that nurtures relationships and each child’s holistic development as they move through their years at Sparrow.
What you’ll need:
- A Diploma or higher qualification in Children’s Services.
- Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards,
- Proven experience and confidence in developing and implementing educational programs.
- Collaborative approach to your practices
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Current and Valid Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- A strong ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive culture within our service
