Casual On-Call Positions
As an Assistant Educator you will be creating and maintaining fun, safe, engaging, and inviting learning environments as well as maintain excellent relationships with families, children and other team members. It is required that you record children’s progress, routines and interests as well as ensure compliance with routines, policies, processes, and practices.
Our centre is in the heart of Browns Plains. We are positioned in Village Square Town Centre which is close to all amenities, including bus and taxi access. We are within walking distance from the Grand Plaza Shopping Centre. We are a supportive Service where all children are individuals with their own needs, personalities and traits. We educate children through play, using each opportunity to extend on their skills and knowledge.
What you’ll need:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Experience in being a pirate finding lost treasure, make potions and sing loudly with little people.
- Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current & Valid Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
