Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning and Childcare Brighton
At our Brighton early learning centre, The Sparrow Way comes to life through play, relationships and environments that invite children to wonder. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our holistic curriculum follows each child’s interests and gives them time to investigate, create, collaborate and discover.
Many of our educators have been part of the centre community for years, and some even attended the centre as children. These long-standing connections help families feel known and give children the safe, secure and trusting relationships they need to grow in confidence.
Our shaded outdoor spaces include open green areas, climbing equipment, sandpits, swings, bikes and a teepee for imaginative play. Through nature-based experiences and Bush Kinder, a patch of grass can become a building site, a hidden habitat or a place to test a new idea. Our Brighton kindergarten program supports independence, communication and school readiness while protecting the joy, curiosity and belonging at the heart of childhood.

Paige is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment at Sparrow Early Learning Brighton where every child and family feels a true sense of belonging.
For Paige, it is the little things that make a big difference. Getting to know each child, building genuine relationships with families, supporting educators and being there for the everyday moments that make centre life so special.

Our long-standing educators work in partnership with families so each child can feel known, safe and included, while nature-based learning and community connections help build confidence and belonging.
Our approach is inspired by Reggio Emilia and The Sparrow Way. Educators observe children’s interests and create open-ended experiences that invite investigation, imagination, problem-solving and collaboration. We believe that play is not separate from learning, it’s how children test ideas, build relationships and make sense of their world.

Starting childcare can feel like a big step. Our educators take time to build trust, learn each child’s cues and create calm, predictable rituals around arrival, play, meals and rest. Families are encouraged to share what helps their child feel secure so settling-in can be approached together.
