Sparrow’s Sippy Downs childcare centre offers education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in a warm, home-like environment. Conveniently located near the University of the Sunshine Coast, local schools, parks and public transport, our Sippy Downs daycare and early learning centre invites children to explore, discover and connect through nature-based play, our Bush Babies program, and caring for chickens and guinea pigs in outdoor learning spaces inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

Our vision is to create a welcoming place of wonder, where children feel inspired to play, explore and connect. Families and community are at the heart of our philosophy, and we value the natural environment that surrounds us. Through sustainable practices like recycling stations for reusable resources like cardboard, pinecones, milk bottle lids and real crockery, parents and children can help us care and take responsibility for our world together.

I have always had a passion for early childhood education. I hold my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have worked in the industry for over 10 years.
