About Sparrow Early Learning Alamanda

Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Alamanda located in the beautiful Alamanda Estate, Point Cook. We are a wonderful service that caters to 120 children daily across six rooms. At Sparrow Early Learning Alamanda, we believe that every child is important and has the potential to bring something unique to the world. We provide a fun, play based learning experience that allows our children the chance to express their ideas, imagination and experiment while learning in a safe, secure and supportive environment. Our Kindergarten program is delivered between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday by a qualified Kindergarten Teacher, providing convenience for those families who require longer care.

Our Educators have been chosen for their experience and commitment to providing excellence in education and care. They interact with children in a warm and friendly manner and are accommodating and responsive to children’s individual needs and feelings.

My name is Alison Townsend, and I am so excited to be joining the team at Sparrow Alamanda. Read more.

I have many years’ experience working in Early Childhood Education having started as a trainee. My passion is connecting with children and creating an environment that is fun, engaging and where the children have a sense of community. I encourage an honest and open dialogue with families and educators working collaboratively as one.

In my spare time love spending time at the beach or going on adventures with my partner and dog Morris. Two years ago, I moved to Point Cook and have really enjoyed exploring the area and settling into my new community.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Enrolment process

Our childcare centre in Point Cook promotes an open-door policy where families can visit and walk through the centre at any time during operational hours.

Once families have completed a tour, they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.

Once enrolled, the orientation process begins. The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs.
