Sparrow Sandstone Point is a modern, open-plan childcare centre offering child-led early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in a tranquil, coastal location. Minutes from the beach and walking distance to public transport, our nurturing learning environment features shaded outdoor play areas and a Beach Kindy program, encouraging children to explore, engage with nature and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Welcome to Sparrow
Our holistic learning approach is inspired by Reggio Emilia, providing opportunities for young minds to learn and grow at their own pace. Our nursery offers a nurturing, stimulating environment where our caring and qualified educators love to play, read, rhyme, sing, clap and dance with the babies to enhance their development. Toddlers develop social confidence and early literacy and numeracy through hands-on experiences. Kindergarten children follow the EYLF-based program led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, preparing them for school and beyond.
Our beautiful, shaded outdoor spaces and nature-play programs encourage children to explore and connect with nature, fostering curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
Kristen brings over 14 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care, with a strong background in educational leadership and service management. She is Diploma qualified and has completed additional studies in Educational Studies and Leadership and Management, bringing together a deep understanding of quality early childhood practice with a genuine passion for supporting people to thrive.
