Sparrow Somerville Cottage is a warm, friendly childcare centre on the Mornington Peninsula, providing early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Designed as a home-away-from-home and surrounded by gardens designed by famous landscaper Edna Walling, our centre is just a five-minute walk from Somerville station, bus stops, shops and local schools, offering a nurturing environment where children can explore, learn and grow.

Our centre is located close to Somerville Recreation Reserve and Somerville Rise Primary School for family convenience and smooth transitions into school. We value families as partners in learning and foster strong relationships that support a sense of belonging so each child can thrive in a nurturing, inclusive community.
Hello my Name is Hayley and I am the Service Manager of Sparrow Early Learning Somerville Cottage.
I have spent the past 18+ years in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, and during that time I’ve worn just about every hat imaginable - Assistant Educator, Lead Educator, 2IC, Service Manager, and even the cook at one stage!
